Hyderabad: A single-day rise of 37,875 new infections and 369 fatalities push India's COVID-19 tally to 3,30,96,718 and death toll to 4,41,411, as per the Union Health ministry. Statistics show Kerala recorded 25,772 cases and 189 deaths in the last 24 hours. The active caseload has increased to 3,91,256 while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 97.48 per cent, according to the data updated at 8 am on Wednesday.
The cumulative COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive has exceeded 70.75 crore.

The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 3,22,64,051. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 53,31,89,348 samples have been tested up to September 8 for COVID-19. Of these, 15,26,056 samples were tested on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, India had recorded 31,222 fresh cases of coronavirus infection and 290 deaths.
