Kolkata : Former Congress MP and ex-President of All India Mahila Congress Sushmita Dev joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC) today in the presence of the party's national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and Rajya Sabha member Derek O'Brien
Earlier today, before joining the TMC, she sent her resignation letter to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. She, however, did not cite any reason for quitting the Congress. She also changed her Twitter bio.
Sushmita Dev met both Abhishek Banerjee and Derek O'Brien before joining the TMC.
