Many Covid patients died after delaying treatment

According to Professor Hemachandra, the Chairman of the Covid Death Audit Committee, about 50 percent of Covid patients in Uttarakhand died within 48 hours of hospitalization.

Hyderabad: Covid-19 infection is spreading fast along with the number of deaths in Uttarakhand. The state's death rate from Covid-19 has crossed the national death rate. Even more frightening is the fact that around 50 percent of the Covid deaths have happened within 48 hours of hospitalization.

According to Professor Hemachandra, the Chairman of the Covid Death Audit Committee, about 50 per cent of Covid patients have died within 48 hours of hospitalization.

According to Professor Hemchandra, these people have ignored the symptoms of Covid-19 in the initial four to five days of the infection or didn't get proper medical attention. By the time they reached the hospital, it was too late for these patients. The delay in hospitalization is also a major reason. Nearly 50 percent of the people died after ignoring the initial symptoms and then delaying hospitalization.
