New Delhi: A rise of 27,176 COVID-19 infections and 284 fatalities pushed India's tally of active cases to 3,51,087 and death toll to 4,43,497, as per the Union Health Ministry at 8 AM on Wednesday. The number of people who have recuperated from the disease has surged to 3,25,22,171.
According to the health ministry, 54,60,55,796 samples have been tested till September 14 of which 16,10,829 were tested on Tuesday. According to the ministry, 74,25,94,875 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide vaccination drive so far.
