Jagtial: Ganji Rambabu, 45 years old and his wife Lavanya, 40 years old committed suicide after they tested positive for COVID-19 three days ago. The tragic incident took place in Jagtial in Telangana.
Before committing suicide, Lavanya had contacted her parents and said that they were going to Karimnagar hospital. As the parents reached the hospital, they could not find them and there was no response to phone calls. They had already committed suicide before Lavanya's parents reached her home.
The married couple lived in Maharashtra for 10 years and they came to Jagtial 10 months ago. Owing to pandemic restrictions, they did not return to Maharastra.
