Jalpaiguri: As India entered day 16 of lockdown, the active coronavirus cases surpassed 5,570 mark on Thursday. Despite all the COVID-19 challenges, constable Vishal Chhetri of Jalpaiguri, North Bengal is spreading awareness by singing songs to caution people about the deadly virus.
The cop who is battling cancer has left no stones unturned to deliver service to the nation in times of crisis. Making use of his singing talent, he has been spreading awareness among people, further asking them to stay back at home in order to defeat the coronavirus.
"Vishal nurtured a dream of being a famous singer, he in fact participated in many talent shows but due to cancer he couldn't pursue his dream and thus it left him unhappy," Vishal's neighbour said.
