The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will launch a fundraising campaign across the country in for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. The VHP has set a target of reaching 10 crore families in more than four lakh villages across the country.

New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is mulling to launch a nationwide fundraising campaign for the Ram temple's construction in Ayodhya.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Alok Kumar, working president of VHP, said that they will knock the doors of 10 crores Hindus' houses in more than four lakh villages across the country and seek cooperation for Ram temple.

"The VHP units will be used in this work as soon as the corona outbreak becomes normal. No fixed amount or maximum-minimum amount of donations has been fixed. One can donate as much one wants," he said.

He further said that there will be no discrimination against anyone in the construction of Ram temple and anyone can cooperate in it.

An extensive month-long funds mobilisation campaign would be held from around November 25.
