New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad's Delhi province organized an event at Siri Fort Auditorium on Monday in Delhi in support of the citizenship amendment.
In the program, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad welcomed refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan under the Citizenship Amendment Act.
The CEO of Vishwa Hindu Parishad were present in this program. senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad were also present as chief guests.

Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad while addressing the Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Christian and Buddhist refugees who came from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan said that now you can live in India peacefully without any fear.
Ravi Shankar Prasad claimed that the Citizenship Amendment Act is not taking away citizenship of any Indian citizen.
Referring to the refugees from different countries in the country in the previous government, the Union Minister attacked the Congress and said that when Congress itself was in favour of giving citizenships to refugees then there were no issues but today, when Modi government wants to implement the act, then they have problems.
