Delhi: The activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal protested outside Pakistan High Commission in Delhi on Tuesday for the attacks on Nankana Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan and atrocities on minority communities including Sikhs. People of the Sikh community also participated in this protest.
The protesters said that Guru Govind Singh Ji was revered not only among Sikhs but also among Muslims and Hindus and he gave the message of peace and love to all. They also demanded that Pakistan should stop atrocities on minorities or else it will not be good for them.
The protesters were halted by police at the Niti Marg. The protesters burnt the Pakistani flag. The security forces detained more than a hundred protesters.
Talking to ETV Bharat, Alok Kumar, secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, stated that they want to give a clear message to Pakistan that we respect the shrines of all religions similarly. He further added that Pakistan is struggling for its existence and if it does not improve itself, then it would lose its identity as a country.
