New Delhi: As a part of 'Vande Bharath mission' launched by Indian Government, Indians stranded in foreign countries evacuated under the second phase which started from May 16 will continue till June 22 has been successfully completed with the arrival of 4 special flights with 729 passengers cleared from different destinations.

Flights from Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Singapore, Jedda, Dhammam, Doha, San Francisco, Riyadh, Melbourne, Bishkek and Toronto landed on Thursday.

The third phase will start on June 10 and last till July 1.

In the light of the pandemic, adequate customs staff were deployed with all required PPEs and safety equipment’s to handle the clearance formalities.

The Customs officials were in the forefront in ensuring faster clearance of all passengers. After the preliminary screening, as per the Guidelines of MHA, the customs officials at RGIA, Hyderabad ensured that all the passengers were cleared expeditiously.
