Bulandshahr: A class 10 student allegedly shot his classmate dead after a fight between them over seats turned ugly in Bulandshahr district on Thursday morning. Police sources said that the two students of Surajbhan Inter college- both aged 14- fought over seats in the classroom yesterday.
"One of the students Sunny was so raged after the altercation that he stole his uncle's gun from the house who is posted in Army and currently home on leave. He came to the class and shot Tarjan dead. We have taken Sunny into our custody and have also discovered the licensed gun," said Santosh Kumar senior superintendent of Bulandshahr."
Kumar said that Tarjan died on the spot.
However, the family members of the victim alleged foul play in Tarjan's death and have demanded an investigation.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and a case has been registered by the police.
