Unlock 1.0: Rajasthan board examination resumes today

The board exams of class 12 that were deferred in Rajasthan due to the nationwide lockdown resumed on Thursday. All the rules of social distancing were maintained during the exams.

Jaipur (Rajasthan): Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, remaining examinations of 10th and 12th classes started from today.

These examinations are being conducted following all the rules of social distancing. All the teachers and students while following social distancing were seen wearing face masks.

All the students reached one hour before their exam halls in order to avoid any negligence keeping in view the necessity of social distancing.

Even after following all the precautions like wearing masks, using hand sanitisers, the students were allowed only after thermal screening. The admit cards of all the students were also checked before the examination.

At 8: 30 am science paper for class 12th started which ended at 11:45 am.

All the rooms at the examination center were sanitized before the commencement of the exam.

In order to maintain social distancing, only 60% students were kept in a class while the other 40% were shifted to other classes or nearby schools.

Initially 5680 centers were created, however later the number was increased to 6201. In Jaipur, 567 examination centers and 40 sub-centers have been created.

Apart from this, for the students who could not reach the examination for any reason or could not sit in the exam due to reasons like being Corona positive, a supplementary examination will be held.

The examinations were postponed on 19 March following the nationwide lockdown to flatten the curve the COVID- 19.

Meanwhile board examinations for tenth class will be held at the end of June.
