New Delhi: A day after India had successfully executed Mission Shakti, by shooting down a low-earth orbit satellite in space using ASAT missile, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the DRDO scientists for the unique achievement.
"The scientists have been working over the achievement for the past several months and the distinction was earlier bagged by America, Russia and China," remarked Hardeep Singh, while speaking to ETV Bharat.
He further stated that the achievement strengthened the country's security and till date, India could not achieve such a feat.
The Union Minister also targeted the Congress and Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for attributing every achievement to the Gandhi family and for seeking permission for every single step aimed at the development of the country.

Hardeep Singh also sought to clear the air over leaders from other parties, willing to join BJP, and said, "We are happy that people are joining as they are want to be a part of our party and our teammates are not angry as seats for leaders are already allotted."
