Kulgam(Jammu & Kashmir): Two militants were killed after an encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Manzgam area of Kulgam district. Thirty-four Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Central Reserve Police Force and Kulgam Police were deployed on the job, police officials said.
"Two terrorists were killed in Kulgam encounter", said Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar.
According to police, a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched in the area by joint team of forces which turned into an encounter. Search operation was launched on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area in wee hours today.
