Twitter was sent into a frenzy as Modi-Trump address the Indian diaspora at the Howdy Modi event in Houston, Texas. The event at the NRG Stadium will be followed by a luncheon meeting with elected officials and a community reception at the same venue.

Houston(Texas): As Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President address more than 50,000 Indian-American at the 'Howdy Modi' event at NRG Stadium, the event has sent Twitter into a frenzy with over 222k tweets about the mega diaspora event.

The roughly three-hour-long event is being organised at the sprawling NRG Football Stadium, one of the largest in the US, which has served as a venue for some of the most impressive events starring Beyonce, Metallica, to name a few.

The event at the NRG Stadium will be followed by a luncheon meeting with elected officials and a community reception at the same venue.

PM Modi will leave for New York the same day. On September 23, he will attend the UN Secretary-General's Climate Action Summit at the UN building.

He has a packed schedule during his week-long visit to the US to attend the UNGA which includes multi-lateral engagements, interaction with the business community, bilateral meetings as also address to the Indian diaspora.
