Trivendra Singh Rawat takes jibe at Kejriwal, calls him 'trickster'

Trivendra Singh Rawat, BJP's star campaigner and Uttarakhand Chief Minister took a jibe at Arvind Kejriwal juxtaposing him to the character of a monkey in the tale of Panchtantra who was only good at talking.

New Delhi: BJP's star campaigner and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Wednesday mocked Arvind Kejriwal comparing him to the character of Monkey in tales of Panchtantra while addressing a public rally at Delhi's Ambedkar Nagar constituency.

Uttarakhand CM initiated his speech saying, it's after 35 years a party has got such a huge mandate to serve the nation. He narrated the tale of Panchtantra comparing Kejriwal to the character of a monkey who was only good at talking.

Trivendra Singh Rawat claimed that Arvind Kejriwal is an opportunist who took advantage of Anna Hazare and befooled the people of Delhi using honeyed words. He also criticised Kejriwal for asking, proof of the surgical strike conducted by Indian Air Force at Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad terror camp in Balakot.

Trivendra Singh Rawat who was campaigning for BJP's Ambedkar Nagar candidate Khushiram also said that Kejriwal has forgotten his pre-poll promises of Jan Lokpal.

Referring to the departure of Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan and Kumar Vishwas from AAP, Uttarakhand CM claimed that Kejriwal has denounced the trust of his own people.

Rawat hailed PM Modi for taking bold steps like abrogation of Article 370, surgical strikes and his major move pertaining to the clearance of Citizenship Amendment Bill from both the houses of parliament.

He asked people to vote for the saffron party so that only a strong government which can take bold steps will come to power.
