In an expected twist ahead of the Bihar elections, Lok Janshakti Party has decided to not to fight under JD(U)'s leadership and has said that its MLAs will work to strengthen the hand of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India and China will hold Corps Commander-level talks on October 12 in the Eastern Ladakh sector to address the ongoing military standoff between the two countries.

The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) on Sunday virtually walked out of the National Democratic Alliance in Bihar ahead of the state assembly polls, saying that it will not fight the election under JD(U) president and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership of the ruling alliance in the state, a party statement said.

Hikmet Hajiyev, an aide to the Azerbaijani president, tweeted a video depicting damaged buildings and called it the result of “Armenia’s massive missile attacks against dense residential areas" in Ganja.

Indian Navy ships Kiltan, Khukri & Bangladesh Navy ships Abu Bakr, Prottoy, helo and MPA undertook manoeuvres, surface drills, helo operations and seamanship evolutions.
