Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the inaugural address at the 'Conclave on Transformational Reforms in Higher Education under National Education Policy' on Friday, an official statement said. The conclave is being organised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the University Grants Commission, it said.

2. Cong questions PM over withdrawn doc mentioning Chinese 'transgressions'

The Congress on Thursday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of "lying" about Chinese aggression across the Line of Actual Control, citing a now withdrawn report of the Ministry of Defence which had acknowledged PLA's 'transgressions.'

8. Foreign Tablighees free to leave India: Centre to SC

In a reply to the Supreme Court, the Centre informed that foreign Tablighi Jamaat members stranded in India are free to go back to their countries, as the government has decided to withdraw notices against them.
