Pranab Mukherjee's son Abhijit has said that the health condition of his father is better and stable. The former President's health status had worsened following life-saving emergency surgery for his brain clot on August 10.

A girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Isanagar in Lakhimpur Kheri on Friday. Later, the police recovered her body from a sugarcane field in Isanagar.
