Suratgarh: A suspicious object was found in a village in Rajasthan's Suratgarh on Friday, triggering panic in the area.
"A suspicious object was found near Sardarpura Ladana near Anupgarh Branch of Indira Gandhi Canal Project. Many speculate that it could be a used bomb," cops said.
The Sadar Police station team rushed to the spot and alerted the intelligence department unit and security forces.
"A probe is underway. We have to find out whether the suspicious objects are live bombs or used ones. We have covered the area with sand as a precautionary measure. Security has been tightened in the area after the object was recovered," cops added.

Police said that the army has been informed about the mysterious object was recovered.
The recovery of suspicious object triggered panic among the locals. Security forces have been deployed at the spot and an investigation is underway.
It may be recalled that scores of bombs have been recovered in Suratgarh in the past few months.
