Sunanda Pushkar Case: Chargsheet against Tharoor will not be shared with third parties

The additional session court special judge Arun Bhardwaj has given the privilege to the prosecution to share the content of charge sheet and case related documents with experts, whom it will consult for the arguments on charges. It also said that the content of the charge sheet should not be shared with any stranger or third party.

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Thursday said that the chargesheets against Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, in connection with Sunanda Pushkar death case, will not be shared by Delhi police and the prosecution with any third parties.

The additional session court special judge Arun Bhardwaj has given the privilege to the prosecution to share the content of charge sheet and case related documents with experts whom it will consult for the arguments on charges.

The prosecution is asked to maintain a record of the experts consulted in this regard and must produce it before the court.

The Rouse Avenue court will be hearing arguments on charges on August 20 and 22.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is accused of abetting Pushkar's suicide and is currently on bail in the case.

Pushkar was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a suite of a Delhi hotel on the night of January 17, 2014.
