New Delhi: The anti-CAA protesters at Shaheen Bagh of the national capital have refused to listen to the government's advisory concerning coronavirus and said in case they vacate the site, as is being suggested by the authorities, no one would let them reorganize the protest at the place.
"Let the government take back the CAA and we will go to our respective homes," said one of the protesters.
Interacting with the ETV Bharat, she accused the Narendra Modi government of being anti-Muslims and said they would not leave Shaheen Bagh in any case.
"Let coronavirus kill us. We will not go from here," said another woman, protesting against the amended citizenship law.
On being told that even Saudi Arabia and many other Muslim nations have advised their people not hold mass prayers, the protesters refused to reason it out.
Keeping in mind the coronavirus threat, city administration has been trying to convince them to leave the place as staying in the crowd could pose health problems in view of the virus spreading to new areas every day .
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus infected people have risen to over 150, with three deaths and over ten recovering from the contagious disease.
