Kalaburagi (Karnataka): Seven people including three women were killed on the spot after the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry parked on the outskirts of Kalabaragi district in Karnataka on Sunday.
The incident occurred when a pregnant woman was being taken to the hospital for delivery.
The deceased have been identified as Irfana Begum (25), Ruchia Begum (50), Abedhabi Begum (50), Muneer (28), Muhammad Ali (38), Shaukat Ali (29) and Jayachunabi (60).
They were residents of Alanda Taluk.
Soon after the accident, senior police officers visited the spot.
A case has been registered in this connection and further investigation is on.
