New Delhi: After the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir, at least 40 terrorists are suspected to have crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and entered Jammu and Kashmir from the Pakistani side, sources in the security agencies said.
According to security agencies, those terrorists belong to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba terror groups.
The security agencies have stepped up vigil in the state after intelligence about infiltration was received. The agencies suspect that the infiltrators are heavily armed and have received training on the other side of the LoC.
"The security agencies have foiled several infiltration bids recently along the LoC but a few have succeeded and they are planning for a big attack in the valley," added security agency sources.
Pakistan is trying to send some more terrorist in J&K and therefore security agencies are now put on high alert, sources said.
Sources also told that after the abrogation of article 370 from J&K Pakistan is agitated and 12 Infantry Battalions of Pakistan army are being deployed in PoK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir), which is the biggest Infantry brigade of Pakistan's army.
