New Delhi: The Supreme Court has announced that the decision in Sabarimala's management of issues will be heard on 3rd February. SC has expressed disappointment over non-consensus of lawyers regarding issues to be raised in Sabrimala and other similar tagged petitions dealing with discrimination of women in religious practices.
Senior advocates Indira Jaising, VV Giri and Arvind Datar mentioned the case before the Chief Justice of India SA Bobde led bench today seeking clarification on how the range of issues will be addressed by the lawyers to the Supreme court.

"Look at the range of issues, female genital mutilation. We need to know how issues will be addressed. Based on facts of each different situation different laws apply, the only intersection with all of them will be with the constitution," said Jaising.
The CJI clarified that it will not be prudent to allow two lawyers to argue the same issue and will not be hearing each issue on the basis of every aspect of what happened in a case. The court will address the intersections between certain issues which can impact the individual cases later on.
The nine-judge Constitution bench had earlier asked the lawyers to convene a meeting and decide upon the questions to be raised in the court but they informed that they were not able to come to a consensus.
