New Delhi: Reacting on the ruckus in Rajya Sabha on Sunday, BJP Haryana Minister Rattan Lal Kataria said whatever happened in the Upper House on Farm Bills is shameful and anti-democratic.
He also demanded strict against the eight Rajya Sabha MPs for misbehaving on Sunday.
Rajya Sabha on Sunday witnessed unprecedented unruly scenes by protesting opposition members during the passage of Farm bills.

During a press conference in New Delhi, Kataria said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has repeatedly stated that the Maximum Selling Price (MSP) for the produce of farmers across the nation will not be affected in any way.
"Shortly, wrong deeds of the opposition parties will be exposed when the price of crops will increase through enhanced MSP," he said.
He also asserted that these agriculture reform bills are beneficial for farmers as they have been given the freedom to sell their produce anywhere inside or outside the market.
The Farmer's Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, and the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 were passed by the Rajya Sabha on Sunday with a voice vote, amid unprecedented unruly scenes by protesting opposition members demanding that the proposed legislation be referred to a House panel for greater scrutiny.
