New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on Friday, shared his video on India-China border dispute, along with covering issues like international relations and economy, as a sharp attack on Modi Government explaining the reasons that have prompted China to take such an aggressive stance against India.

The video is the first episode of the series "Jan ki Baat" started by Congress party in which Rahul Gandhi will share his views on various issues of the country.

Rahul's latest video ask "Why has China chosen to violate LAC with India at this time?"

In the video, the Congress leader asked, "What is it about India's situation that has made China act in such an aggressive way? What is it about this moment in time that allowed China to take such an aggressive stand against a country like India?"

He further explained, "A country is protected by its foreign relationships its economy neighbourhood and the feeling people have. Over the past six years, India has been disturbed and disrupted in each of these sectors."

Gandhi stated that before the Modi regime, India shared a strategic partnership with the United States and Russia, which have now become transactional relations. He also alleged that India has now disturbed its relations with Europe as well.

"Earlier, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and all other neighborhood countries, except for Pakistan, were our friends and working with India. Today, Nepal is angry with us, if you go to Nepal and you speak to the Nepali people they are furious with what has happened. Sri Lankan has given a port to Chinese, Maldives and Bhutan are disturbed. So we have disrupted our foreign partners and our neighbourhood," said Rahul Gandhi.

While calling the economic policies of Modi Government an "absolute disaster", Gandhi asserted over the suggestions made by Congress party to protect the Indian economy by injecting money to the small and medium businesses.

"Our economy was something that we could boast about going to the world. Now we have the worst economic growth. Absolute disaster. Unemployment highest in 40 to 50 years so our strengths have suddenly become our weaknesses," he said.

He added, "Today, you have a country which is economically in trouble, whose foreign policy is in trouble, and that's why Chinese have decided that this is possibly the best time to act and that is why they have acted."

Gandhi also made a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet, saying, "Since 2014, the PM's constant blunders and indiscretions have fundamentally weakened India and left us vulnerable. Empty words don't suffice in the world of geopolitics."
