"The latest range of smart ‘Life' watches reflect the widespread desire to be physically active and help motivate health-conscious people to stay fit and healthy," said Pardeep Jain, Managing Director, JIPL that manages Gionee in India.
Gionee India in September last year launched Gionee F9 Plus smartphone for Rs 7,690 in the country.
The brand is now been managed since 2018 by Jaina Group that earlier launched the Karbonn brand of smartphones and accessories in 2009 with Bengaluru-based UTL Group.
"With these smartwatch variants, we intend to drive wearable adoption among millennials and expect to launch more and more devices outfitted with futuristic style and features," Jain added.
- GSW3-Senorita offers built-in alarm, sleep tracker, and houses a battery that lasts up to three days.
- Focused on women's wellness, this wearable allows women to monitor and track their monthly period cycles.
- GSW4 ‘Always On' display comes with real-time heart rate monitoring and in-built tracker program to constantly check on workouts, sleep quality, calorie count and step count, etc. The watch also offers a geomagnetic sensor (compass navigation) and a gravity sensor to monitor activities.
- The device has a 350mAh battery that offers 20 days of standby time and 12-day use time.
- The GSW5 Smart ‘Life' Watch offers real-time heart rate monitoring, a calorie meter and auto-tracking of activity, sleep quality, and multi-sports activity tracking.
- The smartwatches are supported by G Buddy - an app that lets users track their fitness on a real-time basis.
"Users can see their daily fitness progress on its responsive IPS touch display powered by a 160mAh battery, allowing for 15 days standby time and 5 days use time," said the company.
