Bengaluru: Bengaluru police have arrested three Nigerian citizens who were allegedly selling marijuana to ITBT employees and college students here. A total of Rs.10, 96,500 worth drugs were seized from them.
The accused were selling drugs publicly at the Sadananda city park. They were arrested following a tip-off.
The accused were identified as Acryk Anthony Akuchukuva, Ezophoma Elochukuva, Og Og Chukuva Francis.
Another case has been filed against a suspected drug peddler known as Joe. A search is on to find him.
A case has been registered against the detainees under the NPS Act 21C and Foreign Registration Act.
Those arrested had come to India on student and business visas.
