PM Modi has thanked his counterparts from Nepal and Bhutan for their contribution to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund. Both countries are a part of the SAARC nations.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday thanked K P Sharma Oli and Dr Lotay Tshering, his counterparts from Nepal and Bhutan respectively, for their contribution to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund.

  • Deeply appreciate PM @kpsharmaoli’s announcement of contribution of NPR 10 crores to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund. It reflects Oli Ji’s commitment and support to the collective fight of SAARC countries against the pandemic.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi Deeply appreciate Nepal PM K P Sharma Oli’s announcement of contribution of NPR 10 crores to the #COVID-19 Emergency Fund. It reflects Oli Ji’s commitment and support to the collective fight of SAARC countries against the pandemic," PM Modi wrote on his Twitter handle.

He went on to thank Bhutanese PM for his contribution to the fund.

Both the countries are a part of the SAARC nations.
