New Delhi: With Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi entrusted with the task of offering a 'chadar' at the Ajmer Sharif dargah on February 25 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark the 808th urs (Death Anniversary) of Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader said that this would be the sixth 'chadar' to be offered by PM Modi.
"On February 25, I will visit Ajmer Sharif and present the chadar given to us by PM Modi, and will also read out his message to mark the 808th urs (Death Anniversary) of Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz. This is the sixth chadar to be offered by Narendra Modi after his election as Prime Minister of the country, " said Naqvi while addressing the media.

Elaborating on the composition of the delegation that was handed over the 'chadar' by PM Modi on Friday, Naqvi said that the delegates include senior members from the management committee of the Ajmer Sharif Sufi shrine, Vice Chancellor of AMU, defence expert, and academicians, among other leaders from the Muslim community.
