Sri Ganganagar: Intrusion of Pakistan's unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was reported from Rajasthan on Saturday, security officials said. The drone was spotted in the Hindumalkot in Sri Ganganagar district at around 6 am.
According to sources, the Indian forces fired shots from the anti-aircraft gun as soon as the Pak UAV was detected by the radar of the army regiment stationed there. The UAV, however, returned to safety after 15 minutes of firing.
This is the third incident in the past 12 hours where Pakistan has violated the Indian airspace. On Friday, two Pakistani drones were spotted near Madarah and Renuka border area by the Border Security Force at 7:30 pm.
So far, four Pakistani drones have been shot at by the Indian security forces since the Indian Air Force carried out air strike at the Jaish-e-Mohammad terror camp in Balakot in Pakistan on February 26.
