'Operation All Out' against terrorists in J-K

Amid growing terrorist attacks on subsequent intervals in Jammu and Kashmir, the unified command security structure in J-K have gone for Operation All Out against terrorists. This assumes much more significance following the fact that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is going for a day-long visit to Kashmir valley on June 30.

New Delhi: Two major terrorist attacks and subsequent encounters in J-K in the past 20 days had got the officials at Delhi's North Block into a tizzy.

Senior officials in the Union Home Ministry have expressed serious concern over terrorist attacks on subsequent intervals in J&K.

'Operation All Out' against terrorists in J-K

Aware of the situation, the unified command security structure in J&K have gone for Operation All Out against terrorists. This assumes much more significance following the fact that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is going for a day-long visit to Kashmir valley on June 30.

"We don't want to take any risks and for this, we are going for Operation All Out against terrorists," said a senior home ministry official on condition of anonymity.

Interestingly, in a unified command security meeting held in Srinagar recently, Governor Satya Pal Malik had applauded the security agencies for its action taken against terrorists.

On June 7, four terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama. In an early morning encounter that took place in Baramulla on Saturday, two terrorists were gunned down by security forces.
