Intro:New Delhi: Imran Khan's visit to Beijing comes at a critical point as Chinese President Xi Jingping will soon arrive in India for the second informal summit. Looking at Pakistani PM's track record, it is expected of him to bring the Kashmir matter for discussions before Xi Jingping.

Body:Amid all this, India will be closely observing China's position as it had already backed its all weather ally Pakistan on Kashmir matter on numerous occasions at world stage.

Speaking to ETV Bharat on this issue, the ORF's Director Research Prof Harsh Pant claimed that China by taking the Kashmir matter to United Nations Security Council has already dampened the so called Wuhan spirit.

On Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson which completely negated possibility of Kashmir issue being raised during President Xi's visit to India, Prof. Pant claimed that they might not raise this issue here but they will continue to provide to operational backing to them.

Conclusion:'Pakistan has very few supporters left at world stage. China continues remain its important backer. They took the Kashmir issue all the way to the United Nations Security Council. So, clearly both China and Pakistan look at this issue with similar lens,' ORF Director Research.

Post Wuhan informal summit last year, both PM Modi and Chinese President decided to keep meeting every year. But as China's continues to support its all weather ally Pakistan on Kashmir, possibilities of this informal summit yielding same results like Wuhan are pretty low.
