New Delhi: Virtually ruling out talks on Kashmir with Pakistan, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said on Tuesday that modifaction of Article 370 is purely an internal issue and the only issue India would discuss with Pakistan is of terrorism.
To a question on talking Kashmir with Pakistan, he said: "370 is not a bilateral issue, 370 is an internal issue. With regard to Pakistan the issue is not 370, the issue with Pakistan is terrorism."
He said there is no change in India's policy on Pakistan.
He also said that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is a part of India and the country expects it will have jurisdiction over it one day.
He said that India's position always has been that PoK is part of India.
"PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir) is part of India. We expect one day we will have jurisdiction over it," Jaishankar said at a press conference here.
The External Affairs Minister was responding to a query about remarks from union ministers that if talks were to be held with Pakistan, these will be on Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
