Lucknow: Newly appointed chief of Congress' Uttar Pradesh unit Ajay Kumar Lallu, who reached here travelling through Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport bus, has said there could be differences but no opposition among the party members.
Talking to ETV Bharat on-board the bus, the Congress leader said he was a follower of Mahatma Gandhi who wants to bring in the desired change in the society.
"It would only be possible if I change myself," he said.
"There could be differences among the party members but there's no opposition among them. We will be on the roads to ensure change in polity," he asserted, adding that "change in politics of Uttar Pradesh is already visible".
Lallu, who is the Congress Legislature Party leader in Uttar Pradesh and is a two-time MLA from Tamkuhi Raj constituency, was elected as party unit chief on Monday last.
