New Delhi: Printed by publisher Apurva Shah of Ahmedabad, "Narendra Modi: Ek Sakaratmak Soch", an unusual book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's life, carved in his own shape and size, is grabbing the attention of the onlookers at the New Delhi world book fair this year.
The life-size book which may look like an election campaign cut-out of the Prime Minister is actually a compilation of his quotes from his ‘Mann ki Baat’ programmes.
Apurva Shah, who hails from Modi's home state Gujarat said, "There are several people who have written books on Modiji but nobody has ever documented his quotes and speeches in the form of a book. The presentation of the book is one of its kind and hence it has been acknowledged by the India Book of Records."
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Shah said, "The book's speciality is that it has been made keeping in mind the specifications related to Modiji. The height of the book is same as that of Modi i.e. 5'7". The book has 78 pages, which is also the age of Modi. Modi's weight is 77 kgs so we have maintained the weight of the frame accordingly."
Mentioning that the book also has a miniature version, he said, "I could see the book's craze on casual onlookers as their gaze stumbled upon my stall seeing it's cover."
Artha Walia, who came to buy this book, said, "I am extremely impressed by the speeches and thoughts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it's a privilege to see him at this position in our country. Inspired by his amazing spirit, I decided to buy the same."
