MoS Chaubey recalls Sushma's tweet on Article 370

After the sudden demise of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, reactions came from people across the country. Minister of State for Health Ashwini Kumar Chaubey also recalls the last tweet done by late foreign minister Sushma Swaraj over modification of Article 370 on Wednesday.

New Delhi: Minister of State for Health Ashwini Kumar Chaubey recalls the last tweet done by late Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj over scrapping of Article 370 on Wednesday.

"After Article 370 was repealed, Sushma tweeted expressing her happiness. She was really looking for this," Chaubey said.

Chaubey and Dr Harsh Vardhan were among the few other leaders who rushed to the AIIMS the moment the news of her demise appeared.

In her last tweet after Article 370 was modified, Swaraj told Prime Minister Narendra Modi: "Thank you Prime Minister. Thank you very much. I was waiting to see this day in my life."

The veteran BJP leader Swaraj died of cardiac arrest last night. She was 67.
