New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has heaped praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for playing a "strategic and smart move" to put up a show in the US and getting President Donald Trump to attend the event.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, the BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said that it was a matter of great pride when the PM Modi stood firmly before the most powerful country in the world.
"We have got a global leader in PM Modi. He is a kind of leader who would fulfil Swami Vivekanand's dream of making India a 'Vishwa-Guru.' The PM gave a strong message to Pakistan by launching a full-frontal attack on Pak sponsered terrorism in India and across the world," said Hussain.
Terming Pakistan as 'Terroristan', he further said that the whole world knows that Pakistan sponsors terrorism in a big way. Even the USA knows this as it found and killed Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan.
Taking a jibe at Sonia Gandhi-Chidambram meet in Tihar jail, Hussain said that the Congress now goes to Tihar to discuss the Indian economy.
"It is because of Congress party that our economy is in such a state and that is why P Chidambaram is in jail," he added.
