Gonda: A man from Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh is battling for his life in a Lucknow hospital as the two others tried to burn him to death on Tuesday for reasons unknown.
The bizarre and horrifying incident took place at Yadav Nagar in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Victim Vishnu Goswami was set on by two men identified as Imran and Tuffail who were passing by the place where Goswami and his alleged drunkard father were embroiled in an altercation. Imran and Tuffail first threw petrol on Goswami and then set him on fire. Seeing the critical condition of the victim Doctors immediately referred him to Lucknow. He was immediately rushed to Lucknow where his condition was stated to be critical.
Victim's brother informed that It all started with a minor brawl between the victim and his father. " Vishnu was engaged in a scuffle with our drunkard father who had hit and injured him. Suddenly Imran and Tuffail who were passing from there attacked Vishnu and set him on fire using petrol without any reasons and rhymes."
Circle Officer Incharge(CO) Jitendra Kumar Dubey stated that four special investigation teams were set up to hunt down the accused men. He assured that culprits will be arrested soon.
