Intro:Body:Microsat-R, Chandrayaan-2 to RISAT-2BR1 : Total of 7 satellites launched by ISRO in 2019

Bengaluru: ISRO has launched a total of 7 satellites in 2019, here is a list of all 7 satellites and a brief introduction of India's pride ISRO achievements of 2019.

1.         Microsat-R : An image sensing satellite was launched on January 24, 2019 by ISRO, and was successfully injected into intended orbit of 274 km by PSLV-C44. This was the first launch of 2019, And this will be 70th lauch from Shriharikota.
2.         GSAT-31 : Second launch of ISRO was GSAT-31, this communication satellite was launched on February 6th to provide better connectivity for transferring mass or bulk data, ATM's. Digital satellite news gathering ( DSNG), In simpler terms this satellite will make signal quality better of own Set top boxes, Mobile networks and so on. GSAT- 31 was launched at Kourou launch base which is in France.
3.         EMISAT: is a satellite built around ISRO’s Mini Satellite-2 bus weighing about 436 kg. The satellite was successfully placed in its intended sun-synchronous polar orbit of 748 km height by PSLV-C45 on April 01, 2019. The satellite is intended for electromagnetic spectrum measurement which was launched on April 1st.
4.         RISAT-2B: radar imaging earth observation satellite developed by ISRO, weighing around 615kg. This satellite will be used for disaster management system and Earth observation.
5.         Chandrayaan 2: Chandrayaan-2 mission is a highly complex mission, which represents a significant technological leap compared to the previous missions of ISRO. It comprised an Orbiter, Lander and Rover to explore the unexplored South Pole of the Moon. The mission is designed to expand the lunar scientific knowledge through detailed study of topography, seismography, mineral identification and distribution, surface chemical composition, thermo-physical characteristics of top soil and composition of the tenuous lunar atmosphere, leading to a new understanding of the origin and evolution of the Moon. This satellite was launched on July 22nd.
6.         Cartosat-3: 3 rd generation advanced satellite having a capability of high resolution imaging. Launched on November 27th will address the increased user’s demands for large scale urban planning, rural resource and infrastructure development, coastal land use and land cover etc.
7.         RISAT-2BR1: is a radar imaging earth observation satellite. The satellite will provide services in the field of Agriculture, Forestry and Disaster Management. Launched on December 11th, with application of disaster management system and earth observing.
These 7 satellites were launched by ISRO and most of them are in success path, while Chrandrayaan-2 had lot of expectation due to the hard crash it couldn’t make it. However From Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India had Congratulated ISRO Chief Dr. K Sivan for his extraordinary efforts in space science. As usual ISRO has many projects for 2020 as well, lets sit back and see ISRO grow high and achieve all its targets .
