Meira Kumar: Terrorism should not be made electoral issue

Former Lok Sabha speaker and Senior Congress leader, Meira Kumar in a press conference, expressed her opinion on NDA government's five-year tenure and condemned their act of making terrorism an electoral issue.

Kaimur: Former Lok Sabha speaker, Meira Kumar said that it's wrong on the part of PM Modi and BJP to make terrorism an electoral issue.

"Terrorism should not be made an electoral issue as it is against our national morality," said Former Lok Sabha speaker.

Senior Congress leader organised a press conference and she also expressed her opinion on the NDA government's five-year tenure.

"The NDA government has failed to fulfill its promises and did injustice to people. The government promised to give 15 lakh rupees to poor people and create 20 million jobs but I couldn't even find 200 people who got employment," said Meira Kumar.

She also commented that Congress' victory is certain in the 2019 elections.

The fourth phase of elections in Bihar will commence on April 29 in Darbhanga, Ujiarpur, Samastipur, Begusarai and Munger constituencies.
