Manu Kumat Jain, Global VP at Xiaomi & MD at Xiaomi India, tweeted explaining that Mi Browser and Mi Internet Products are 100% safe. He shot a video explaining that the news related to Mi Browser sending data to other countries is wrong.

He also tweeted and said that data privacy & security are of utmost importance. The company had moved all it's data to local servers in India 2 years ago. He further added, " We do not collect data without consent, Data is encrypted & India data stays in India."
