Man on bike expedition to create awareness on plastic problem

Sreenath, an engineer from Koduvayoor in Palakkad district was on a twenty days nation-wide bike expedition to create awareness on plastic usage and covered around 10 states in his campaign. The twenty-day drive started on November 22 and concluded on Sunday.

Palakkad (Kerala): In an attempt to embrace an eco-friendly culture, Sreenath, an engineer from Koduvayoor's Palakkad district, took out a nation-wide awareness ride which concluded on Sunday.

Sreenath, who was on a solo bike ride started his campaign on November 22, to bring more awareness to the problem and address the general public towards plastic pollution.

The twenty-day drive through Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal to Gangtok at the India- China border is to disseminate the adverse effects of plastic which causes immense environmental issues.

Moreover, Sreenath had previously undertaken several journeys but this is the first time he decided to drive with an initiative.

Meanwhile, Sreenath has also decided to plan a trip to the neighbouring country, Bhutan to create awareness about the adverse effects of plastic on the planet.

Sreenath, Second Engineer at Merchant Navy mounts on his two- wheeler to traverse into almost half states of India, propagating the idea of reducing plastic usage or to alter it with recyclable palstics.



The twenty days drive through Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal to Gangtok at the India- China border is to disseminate the evil facts of plastic which cause immense environmental issues. Sreenath also plans to pursue his awareness trip to the neighbouring country, Bhutan as if the climate favours. Moreover, it is the very first time that Sreenath setout for a journey with message although he had driven several trips earlier.
