Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said as on date, shares of 302 companies and 12,426 immovable enemy properties are vested in the Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI).

The value of such properties has been estimated at about Rs one lakh crore, he said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.

"I don't care who it is, whether it's a member of House or anyone. Anybody who threatens the physical security of an aircraft, inside the aircraft while it is airborne deserves no consideration," he said.

Aviation Turbine Fuel needs to come under GST: Minister

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh said that aviation turbine fuel (ATF) needs to be brought under GST, but all the states have to support the Centre.  

"Cost of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) constitutes 40 per cent of the overall operating cost of airline. We must rationalise tax structure on ATF. It needs to be brought under GST with full input tax credit," he said.

"With global fuel prices down, now is the time to have states on board," he added.

79 terror incidents in JK since abrogation of Article 370

Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy in a written reply said no major terror attack took place in the hinterland of the country between August 5, 2019 and March 10, 2020.

Altogether 79 terrorist incidents have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir during the period from August 5, 2019 to March 10, 2020, in which 49 terrorists have been neutralised, he said.

450 people continue to be under preventive detention in JK

A total of 450 people, including stone pelters, miscreants, over ground workers (OGWs) and separatists of Jammu and Kashmir are presently under preventive detention in various jails, Lok Sabha was informed earlier today.

Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy said regular review is being undertaken on case to case basis and accordingly, extension in detention or revocation is made based on reports of field agencies and ground situation.
