Ajmer (Rajasthan): The coronavirus-induced lockdown has left many in a precarious situation including those engaged in the entertainment industry with no fixed monthly income.
One such victim of the lockdown is Manan, a young guitarist from Rajasthan has been forced to sell masks and sanitisers on the roadside after exhausting all his savings over the past two months with zero income.
"I am a guitarist and I used to play at events. But since the lockdown, all events have been cancelled at all hotels and resorts I used to play at. All my savings have been exhausted and this is the only option I am left with to manage household expenses, " Manan told ETV Bharat as he sat in the boot of his car waiting for customers.
Manan has converted his car into a small roadside stall.
"We drive to Vaishali every morning and put up our little stall in the car itself to earn some money, " said Manan.
