Bengaluru: After a 55-year-old woman of Veerasagara village in Karnataka succumbed to coronavirus and kin quarantined, her livestock's welfare is at stake, a source said.

"People are scared to go near the cattle, nobody is ready to give them food or water for that matter. In fact, every day around 60 litres of milk is getting wasted. No one is coming forward to look after the livestock animals, however, the neighbours have urged Taluk administration to come to the aid of innocent animals," Bhanuprakash, a resident of Veerasagara village said.
