A 45-year-old man riding pillion on a bike died after falling from the Maa flyover ramp on the Park Circus seven-point crossing on Wednesday evening. According to police this is the third such incident on the new link ramp.

Kolkata: A man died after falling from the Maa flyover ramp on the Park Circus seven-point crossing on Wednesday evening.

The deceased was riding pillion when the bike hit guard wall on the ramp. He fell on the busy road 40 feet below as a result of the impact. He was immediately rushed to SSKM, where he was declared dead.

The rider identified as Uttam Ghosal (45) sustained multiple fractures and is undergoing treatment at SSKM Hospital. His condition was stated to be serious on Wednesday night.

Ghosal was reportedly driving at a high speed and lost control while taking the turn to enter the new ramp. “The bike got stuck in the railing after the impact. This is the third such incident on the new link ramp,” said a police officer.

এই মুহূর্তে তিনি এসএসকেএম হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন।Conclusion:
