  2. Once the officer verifies the person, he will have to wait at the 'counter number-2' for their turn.
  3. Then the person has to enter the vaccination room, which is marked as 'counter-3', where a vaccination officer will inject the vaccine.

While speaking to ETV Bharat, SDMC councillor Singh said that he is very happy that he got a chance to serve the people of the country at the time of the deadly pandemic.

"I feel very fortunate that I have been able to serve the people of our country when they are in need. All the staffs were already trained and capable to handle more than 1,000 persons in a day", said Singh.

When asked about any data of the people picked for the dose in the first phase, the Srinivaspuri councillor said that Centre has shared a data related to the vaccination and asked him of suggesting more names related to the priority of his area.

Earlier this month, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan had said that India may begin vaccinating people against COVID-19 from January and the government's first priority has been safety and efficacy of the vaccine. According to the Health Ministry, there are nine COVID-19 vaccine candidates in different phases of clinical trials in India -- six are under clinical trials and three in the pre-clinical phase.
