IIT Jodhpur makes India's first advanced sanitization machine

The speciality of this machine is that it has the ability to sanitize any object across the layers and is made using nanoparticles wave metal oxide coating. This machine can be installed in public places like railway station, bus stand, library, school, college and office, where the risk of infection is high.

Jodhpur: The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT-J) has developed the country's first advanced photocatalytic oxidation conveyor system machine, the commercial production of which is now going to start.

IIT-J has shared its technology with MSME Industries under 'Make in India', which will soon launch this machine in the market.

IIT Jodhpur claims that the machine can sanitize any object inside out for which the trial has been done successfully in many places.

The institute added that the machine can be especially useful for large institutions. Apart from this, it will be useful for the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

Apart from this, food products that go out of India can be sanitized using the machine.

To bulk manufacture the machine, IIT Jodhpur has signed MoU with a private company.

The machine made by IIT Jodhpur is made on behalf of BioScience Department, Physics Department, Electric Department and Mechanical Department and has passed the test by AIIMS Jodhpur, RBISR Jaipur.
